JobYaar is built and maintained by a small independent team. We're software developers ourselves, and we built the tools we wished existed when figuring out our own offer letters, tax slabs, and resumes — then kept adding to them as more people asked for the next thing.
Our calculators are built directly from official, publicly published rules — current income tax slabs, standard EPF contribution rates, and each university's own published CGPA-to-percentage formula. Every tool shows its formula and a worked example on the same page, so you can check the math yourself instead of taking our word for it. Where we publish salary ranges, we say clearly that they're indicative estimates, not verified survey data, and we're working toward sourcing real aggregated data over time.
