How to Use Our Tools

A comprehensive guide to getting the most out of JobYaar

We built JobYaar to be simple and intuitive. Below you will find quick instructions for each of our main tools.

1. Salary Calculator

Purpose: Find out your exact in-hand salary based on your CTC and the latest tax regime.

• Go to the Home Page and select the Take-home calculator.
• Enter your annual CTC (Cost to Company).
• Select your city to account for local professional taxes.
• Click "Calculate" to see your monthly in-hand breakdown.

2. ATS Resume Checker

Purpose: See how well your resume matches a job description and passes automated screening.

• Navigate to the Resume Tools section.
• Paste your resume text into the left panel.
• Paste the job description into the right panel.
• The tool will highlight missing keywords and give you an ATS match score.

3. CGPA to Percentage Converter

Purpose: Convert your university CGPA to a standard percentage.

• Go to the Students section.
• Select your university (e.g., SPPU, Mumbai University, VTU).
• Enter your CGPA points. The tool applies the official conversion formula automatically.

4. Education Loan EMI Calculator

Purpose: Plan your monthly repayments for your student loan.

• Select the Education loan EMI tool.
• Enter the total loan principal amount.
• Enter the annual interest rate and the repayment tenure in years.
• The tool will instantly show your expected monthly EMI.
